​In this work we implement an automated workflow, based on the analysis of seismic waveforms, to study the February 2018 seismic crisis in the island of S. Miguel, Azores. Our workflow consists on earthquake detection, location, magnitude estimation, clustering based on waveform similarity and augmentation of the catalog based on template matching. We further characterize the focal mechanisms of selected events by moment tensor inversion. Our results show the detailed spatiotemporal evolution of seismicity during the crisis, which seems to be related to the intrusion of fluids, and which is followed by period of surface deformation.​
